What really puts me off from these books though is the fact how quickly our characters are brought together and fall in love. After that scene I would have loved to read from his point of view what he thought of her but it went straight back to her, I found that the book was not equally shared between them but was mostly told by her point of view. Avery first encounters Rilic in her dreams then when she encounters him looking like a hobbo has a panic attack. In this one our main characters Avery and Rilic are meant to be mates chosen by the Goddess of Rilics faith unbeknownst to them both. But after a while I gave in and decided to give this book a chance and to my disappointment came across the same issues I had with all the previous books. I had previously read the first three books in this series and even though I enjoyed them I was left feeling not completely satisfied as their were some issues I had with the books so I decided not to read this one at all. ![]()
